The Alzheimer Society is delighted to provide a new Mobile Information Service to provide information and support to people with dementia and their families in their local communities

A massive thank you to the Peggy Mangan Foundation who raised the funds needed to buy and convert this mini bus into an information service.

The service will travel throughout Ireland and be a presence in towns, villages and cities to raise awareness about dementia and to provide vital information to people who are affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.

  • KBC Hub to Hub Friday 15th  
    • With our ASI Fundraising Team
    • Day 1 Friday 15th: Blanchardstown Dublin 15: 8:30am – 10 am
    • Day 1 Friday 15th: Galway Eyre Square Hub: 8pm – 10pm
  • Wicklow  Saturday 30th
    • Charity Ukulele Concert at Bray Seafront between 2pm and 4pm.
    • Meet ASI Wicklow staff and volunteers who will be there to speak with you.


  • Meath  Sunday 15th  
    • Oldcastle Agricultural Show with our local ASI branch and volunteers. 
  • Kildare - Sunday 22nd
    • Robertstown Fundraising Walk with local ASI Day Care Staff and volunteers.


  • Wicklow  Bank Holiday Monday 6th 
    • Tinahely Agricultural Show with our local ASI Wicklow staff and volunteers. 
  • Louth - Saturday 18th 
    • With our ASI Drogheda Branch for the Fleadh Ceoil.
  • ​Cavan - Thursday 23rd 
    • Virginia Show with our local ASI branch and volunteers. 


  • Dublin - Wednesday 12th 
    • Visiting the grounds of St. James' Hospital, Dublin 8
    • Meet and speak with our Dublin & Louth Dementia Advisers: Jean Scanlan & Maeve Montgomery who will be there to give information and support.
  • Offaly- Tuesday 18th - Thursday 20th   
    • National Ploughing Championships 2018: Screggan.
    • Meet and speak with our ASI Dementia Advisers who will be there to give information and support across all 3 days of the event. 
  • Laois- Monday 24th - Friday 28th 
    • Meet members of our ASI Laois Branch who will be visiting a range of locations to be confirmed. Check back for details coming soon.

Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for our services and takes place locally across Ireland as well as through national events and campaigns. We aim is to raise €5 million a year.


The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has, since it was founded, campaigned on behalf of people with dementia and their carers to improve the lives of all those affected by dementia.
