The Alzheimer Society is delighted to provide a new Mobile Information Service to provide information and support to people with dementia and their families in their local communities

A massive thank you to the Peggy Mangan Foundation who raised the funds needed to buy and convert this mini bus into an information service.

The service will travel throughout Ireland and be a presence in towns, villages and cities to raise awareness about dementia and to provide vital information to people who are affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.

Visit our service at the following locations in 2019:


  • Tallaght University Hospital, Tallaght, Dublin Monday 4th 
    • With our dementia advisers from 11am to 2pm
  • Nenagh Library, Nenagh Co. Tipperary - Thursday 7th 
    • With our North Tipperary Branch members and Tipperary ASI staff
  • Templemore Library, Templemore Co. Tipperary - Friday 15th
    • With local staff in North Tipperary

Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for our services and takes place locally across Ireland as well as through national events and campaigns. We aim is to raise €5 million a year.


The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has, since it was founded, campaigned on behalf of people with dementia and their carers to improve the lives of all those affected by dementia.
