Each person’s experience with dementia is unique to them. It is not possible to say exactly how your dementia will progress or how long it will take to progress.

There are many factors to consider, including the type of dementia you have, your age and if you have any other health issues. In general, for many people, progression is gradual.

Speak to your doctor about your dementia and your experience with the condition.
