The Alzheimer Society is delighted to bring our new Mobile Information Service to Sligo and Leitrim

In an eventful two weeks, from 22 February our service will visit Sligo Regional Hospital, Tesco Sligo, Supervalu in Leitrim and St Johns Community Hospital, Sligo. Full details here.

Dementia Adviser Majella O'Donnell will be on hand to answer any questions and arrange one-to-one advice sessions.

We have new resources for people living with dementia. 

Bloomfield Health Services will host workshop for those caring for a loved one with dementia. The workshop will be held on Saturday 27th September from 10am to 4pm, at a cost of €20 including lunch.

An Information Event to mark World Alzheimer Week will take place in the Firgrove Hotel in Mitchelstown, Cork on 17th September from 7.30pm to 9.15pm. The theme on the evening is Early Interventions – Signs and Symptoms.

In order to mark World Alzheimer Week an Information Event will take place in Newgrange Hotel, Navan, Co. Meath on Thursday 18th September 2014 at 8pm. 

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland would like to invite you to the launch of our #LivingWithDementia Campaign.  The launch will take place on Wednesday 17th September from 6pm – 7.30pm in the Royal Hibernian Academy, 15 Ely Place, Dublin 2.

The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) has launched an online survey to find out how the impact of the recession and cuts in the health services has affected people with neurological conditions and their families.
