Waterman's Lodge
Waterman's Lodge day care and respite centre provides dementia specific specialist services to people living in North Tipperary, East Clare and East Limerick.
Overlooking the river shannon, the centre is beside the picturesque towns of Killaloe and Ballina. The centre was recently renovated using dementia design principles and provides a range of rooms and spaces to offer a truly positive experience to people living with dementia.
The centre offers a homely atmosphere in which each person feels cared for, respected and content. A choice of nutritous meals are prepared daily on the premises and the centre provides a specialist activity programme which takes account of a person's interests, skills, experiences, personality and preferences.
Waterman's Lodge accepts self referral and referrals from family members, GP's, Public Health Nurses and other health profressionals.
