Campaigns

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland aims to ensure that those living with dementia and their carers occupy their rightful place in society, be respected and understood and enjoy fulfilling lives.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has, since it was founded, campaigned on behalf of people with dementia and their carers to improve the lives of all those affected by dementia.

With your help we can:

  • Continue campaigning for more funding for our own services in order to provide increased and better services
  • Lobby government to invest in dementia care and research from diagnosis to end of life
  • Give a voice to the person with dementia and their carer and those people with a younger diagnosis.
  • Work hard to promote awareness and address stigma across decision makers, the general public and the media.

Now is the time to join us and speak up for the rights and needs of people living with dementia and their families. The more campaigning we do, the greater the power of our voice and our influence.
