Right now, over 44,000 people in our country are living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related form of dementia. Another 50,000 people are their carers. The chances are, you know someone who’s been touched by this devastating disease. Perhaps you or a loved one has been personally affected.
We are here to help. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is dedicated to improving the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and their carers and families.
Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for our services and takes place locally across Ireland as well as through national events and campaigns. Our aim is to raise €5 million a year through Fundraising and we appreciate all the support we have received so far.
There are many ways you can support and help us lead the fight against dementia. From making a monthly donation, signing up to one of our fundraising events, volunteering in your local area or leaving us a lasting gift in your Will. We also have information for companies and trusts on how you can make a big difference to our work.
