Drop-In Service
The Drop-In service is open to people with dementia, their families and carers. It aims to offer a dedicated space for people to access information and support on a regular basis or on an intermittent basis as needs arise. Society staff are on hand to provide support, advice, guidance and a listening ear.
Currently the Society has two drop-in services:
Dublin South: The service is open Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm and is based in Tymon North in Tallaght. To access this service a referral form must be completed and this can be downloaded below. For further information contact Mary Hickey at 086 6079614 or email mhickey@alzheimer.ie.
Dublin North: Open every second Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, the service is based in our Cairdeas Day Care Centre in Raheny. The service is for people who are under 65 years of age and in the early stages of dementia, however people of any age who are in the early stages of dementia can contact the service.
