Many people believe that memory problems are just a sign of old age and that what they are experiencing isn't important enough to go the doctor about.
Although there are some mild changes in memory that occur naturally due to age, some changes are not minor and are not part of normal ageing.
Changes that are not usually associated with normal ageing include forgetting whole events, repeating questions frequently and getting lost in familiar surroundings.

Speak to some-one about these changes, you could talk to a trusted family member or friend, your doctor and you can call our Helpline.
