Mission Statement

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland's Vision is:

An Ireland where no one goes through dementia alone, where policies and services respond appropriately to the person with dementia, and their carers, at the times they need support.

Mission
To meet the needs of all people with Alzheimer’s / dementia and their carers.

Core Values
The Society has identified four core values for the work that we do:

Person centred care - placing the person at the centre of everything we do
Rights Based- promoting the rights of the person with Alzheimer's disease/dementia, carer and family
Grassroots Led- A shared commitment to people with dementia and their carers that is grassroots led.
Learning Led - respecting and valuing people's contribution and dedication to learning from each other.
