Dementia Rights Advocacy Service
Founded in January 2006, the service is for anyone who is living with memory difficulties, Alzheimer's diesease or another form of dementia and who lives in Dublin.

The aim of the service is to help people living with memory difficulties, Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia to more effectively express their wishes, access their entitlements and assert their rights.
The services includes a full-time professional Advocacy Officer who can help with specific issues and a network of specially trained volunteers who provide one-to-one advocacy support to people who would benefit from a longer-term relationship with an advocate.
The advocates job is to be on the side of the person with dementia. The service is free, independent and confidential.
If you are a person with dementia, a friend, family member or carer of a person with dementia or a professional working with a person with dementia, our Advocacy Officer is happy to talk to you about the service and assess if we may be able to help.
