The We Can Help section provides a detailed overview of our services and contact details for locations around the country.

The 'I'm a person with dementia' and 'I'm a carer' sections have been added specifically for people who have recently received a diagnosis or for the carers, family and friends of someone with Alzheimer's or a related dementia.

The Orchard National Respite Centre

The Society provides dementia-specific overnight respite to people with dementia in our national centre in Blackrock, Co Dublin. The centre provides service from Monday morning through to Friday evening and is open to people with dementia living anywhere in Ireland. For more information please click here.

Cuba Cycle Challenge 2010- Start the New Year with a worthwhile goal!

This is the time of year to start a new regime and what better way to get fit and healthy than by raising much needed funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland!?

The Cuba Cycle Challenge, which offers a valuable insight into rural Cuban life, is an eight day, fully supported point-to-point road tour in the Western Province of Pinar del Río in Cuba.This trip is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves to make a difference and take part in an adventure to remember!
