There are a range of other services, in addition to those provided by The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, which can provide support and assistance to you and your family.

The HSE provides comunity supports such as home care packages, often provided through your local Health Centre and Public Health Nurse, PHN.

Other service providers  inlcude  the Carer's association and private home care services.

You may also consider residential care options such as nursing home care.

There is no absolute one right way to build a network of support, rather it may be a combination of different supports over time .

Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for our services and takes place locally across Ireland as well as through national events and campaigns. We aim is to raise €5 million a year.


The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has, since it was founded, campaigned on behalf of people with dementia and their carers to improve the lives of all those affected by dementia.
