We are open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm

If you are contacting us outside these hours you can leave a brief message with your name and contact number and your call or email will be returned when the helpline re-opens.

I just find I am forgetting things and sometimes it is difficult to follow a conversation, is this Alzheimer's?

We post our publications free of charge to people with dementia and their families.

Our freephone number is available to callers within the Republic of Ireland. If you live abroad, you can contact our national office at +353 1 207 3800 and ask for our Helpline Service. Telephone charges will apply.

Helpline calls and emails are occasionally monitored for training and evaluation purposes. The Helpline closes on Bank holidays.

Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for our services and takes place locally across Ireland as well as through national events and campaigns. We aim is to raise €5 million a year.


The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has, since it was founded, campaigned on behalf of people with dementia and their carers to improve the lives of all those affected by dementia.
